At Dev Memorial Public School, we conducted a mock drill to help students and teachers understand how to respond calmly and safely during emergencies such as earthquakes, fires, and other accidents.
The drill included practical demonstrations by trained experts, along with the participation of firefighters, medical teams, and emergency response personnel. Students were guided on safe evacuation procedures, basic emergency response, and how to help others while staying calm in a crisis. Fire and rescue vehicles, along with an ambulance, were also part of the demonstration, giving students a closer understanding of how emergency services respond to real situations.
The activity was designed to turn safety instructions into practical learning, helping our students understand that being prepared, staying alert, and knowing what to do can make a crucial difference during an emergency.
